Some products are available to purchase for personal use by current staff and students. A University Purchase Order in PDF format will be needed with the application. Institutions wishing to purchase software for installation on University-owned machines should complete an application on the software distribution site. How to buy software Institutional purchase We have also compiled a list of additional software resources for students. Office productivity tools, such Google's G Suite and Microsoft's Office 365 ProPlus, are free to all students and staff of qualifying institutions. Our software distribution system provides a searchable catalogue and gives details, including prices and system requirements, for all products available from UIS. Included in the catalogue are free site-licensed titles such as MacAfee and MATLAB. We provide a range of software at favourable rates to the University, as well as the infrastructure and support necessary to administer such deals.
